Certificate of Competency: ESG Fundamentals for Charities an

Sustainability is a complex issue with many facets. Implementing it requires the effort of more than just one person or team. However, everyone has different view of what sustainability is.

This one-day workshop brings together team members from different functions and seniority levels to:

  • Establish a common understanding of sustainability, covering the origins and definitions of sustainability, illustrating the reasons for practicing and looking at various frameworks of sustainability.
  • Apply the theory in a very relevant and interactive brainstorming session, applying my Logic-based Sustainability Implementation Model to one of your programmes or processes. By the end, your team will have many sustainable initiatives to implement.

The one-day workshop is delivered through ITE at College Central and can be paid for by SkillsFuture and STEP. Participants will be individually awarded a Certificate of Competency.

Why you should choose ESG Fundamentals for Charities and SMEs for your team:

 • Provides certification by ITE.

 • Can use STEP or SkillsFuture to offset costs.

 • Only one day, so not too time-consuming.

 • Your team chooses the day and the course code is created EXCLUSIVELY for you.

 • The case studies used are from YOUR organisation. Learning is relevant and in real-time. Teams are guaranteed to have solutions by the end of the day.

SustainaMap

Catalyse your sustainability conversations with this an interactive team-oriented game-like activity. SustainaMap provides a guided platform for participants to exchange knowledge and learn.

Participants will discover myriad elements of sustainability, the cause and effect of various ESG factors and interesting trivia along the way. No two sessions are ever the same so let us see what path your team takes!

SustainaMap is best for four to eight participants and takes about 2.5 hours to complete.

Plogging

There are many ways to take care of our environment and one of them is to help clean her up. Plogging (from a combination of picking litter and jogging) is the act of picking up litter while jogging or walking. Of course, we can call it beach or park cleaning; jogging is optional!

I take groups to areas where our nation's army of cleaners is not always able to go to really clear rubbish and make an impact. The weight of rubbish collected is tallied afterward, for those who like data and statistics.

A session can last about an hour and is ideal for groups of four to 40 pax.

Mindfulness in Nature Walks

Begin your journey to protect our environment literally, with a walk in nature. Set aside the distractions of daily life and experience our natural world as you probably never have. See, hear. feel, breathe and even taste the wonders of our flora and fauna cocooned in your own little bubble.

This is a relaxing activity that will renew your senses and recharge your mental wellbeing, opening your mind to a better appreciation of our world.

Ideal for groups of up to 20 pax, these sessions last about an hour.

This activity is best conducted in a park or beach setting, at dawn.
